It is valentines day... why do i feel even more sore then usual... well this girl i love is going with another guy..... haix... sob sob
but what really breaks my heart the most the guy is ALREADY married.....i mean ..... WAH lao..... then some more then i talked to her ( we were close friends... pls note i used the word WERE. ) she told me the reason why she likes him....
she said becus when she was sick he came over to her house and and he visited her and he treat her so good lah he took care of her lah blah blah............ wah lao.... U KNOW HOW HEART BREAKING TO HEAR THAT FROM U A NOT?!!??!? I MEAN COME ON... I DID THE SAME THINGS FOR HER WHEN SHE WAS SICK......................................... I WAS THERE I TREATED HER THE SAME WAY............................... seriously this dun add up.
somemore that time she told me she was not ready to get into any relationships. then of course i waited lor.... i did not tell her then how much i felt for her... we stayed as close friends.... then one day she told me about the bomb shell that she kissed Ron ( thats the name of the guy ) and started seeing him.......... it really devastated my heart man... u had not idea how heart breaking it was.
Yes Ron's wife was suspecting about the affair... but she believing ron when ron told her that there was nothing happening.... man i really pity the wife.. not knowing what is actually going on... i hate guyz who cheat on their girlfriends / wives.
everytime i know her heart is with him... it is worst then having a shotgun blowing your heart into pieces. I mean the pain REALLY DO come for your heart........... weird huh?
right now something happened i dunno what.... she and me are no longer talking....... i dun think i will talk to her bah until the day she decides to talk to me..... i bet u that day will never come. she says she will talk to me still if i never find her... lets put that to the test shall we? i can bet u with all my life she will never come find me... at all... anymore........ man i really wish i could i just physically rip my own heart out .... it really hurts

Why i hate Valentines day so much
Come on everywhere u go u see are couples with flowers / chocolates / bears / being together with their special someone.... then u look at yourself... boh simi girl friend..... aiyo....... come on lah i mean...Zzzz i see i also du lan....
yayaya your all saying i am a loser izzit? dun have girl friend..... pls lah... there are a few things i look in a relationship....
1. I must love her and she will love me back.
2. She must be truth to me at all times and hide NOTHING from me... ( of course i will do the same to her duhz )
3. she and i must be 100% or loyal to each other... i mean whats the point of breaking up with girl after girl after girl over and over again.. whats the point???? actually it is quite sad.... seeing guyz / girls change thier partner everytime. I mean they change thier boy/girlfriends more then i change my house pet bird's cage droppings lor.

MY 2 cents on MMOGs
Right now MMOGs are all required for a game to be sucessful in the game industry. Why is this so? Well it allows players to interact with other players on the internet. This introduces the Human element to the game.. it makes the game play unpredictable. Unlike when someone plays against an AI / Computer. Most of the game logic is writtern in there and thus players know how to defeat them eventually. Unlike fighing with or against a human player.. there is an element of human unpredicatability there that makes the game interesting and addictive.
Just like all game an MMOG has to make the player feel as if he is making a difference in the game. ( especially in MMORPGs) If this is not done the player would soon find the game boring. That whatever he does is totally pointless.
With the the ability to connect players around the world , and allow them to interact with one another. This allows the game to have a sense of replayablilty, or an never ending goal in which the player can never achieve but he still wants to achieve it. Take World of Warcraft for example. The developers added in the PVP , battleground mode. In which u can kill other players , do battle with them , duel them... etc

What is Fun?
Sooo whats fun..... okie I am lazy.. so i am just going to past the defination from a dictionary.

8.make fun of, to make the object of ridicule; deride: The youngsters made fun of their teacher.
..... WoW thats like the defination of fun there... okie to be serious since I am a game developer , more or a programmer wanna be and avid gamer. So what do it find fun in computer games. Firstly we need to know what are computer games or games for that matter. A Game is pretty much a puzzle. A puzzle where the player has to solve. ( or as my lecturer calls it... noise and where the player has to reach the goal thru the noise )
If you do not believe me, that a game is pretty much a puzzle. Picutre this in your head. A game of chess , the puzzle will be being able get into your opponent's mind , and the goal is to win him. Compare this with oh lets say.. Warcraft 3 ( online fighitng against and other player ). Is'nt the puzzle the same? to get into your opponent's mind and see his moves. And the goal is to beat him. So games are pretty much the same. There is a puzzle and the players tries to solve it. ( or master it )
But this will eventually creates a new problem. If everyone who plays the game manages to master the game, won't it get to start to be boring? Yes it will. The player will not longer find a challenge in the game. ( a human characteristic )
So as a game developer / designer / programmer how do we ensure the game we are making will be able to keep the fun factor, or maybe juz prolong it as long as possible so that a new game can be created. The answer is simple really. Create a puzzle that always create a new puzzle by itself. Example , PVP ( player versus player ) element into online multiplayer games. With this human element added they can cause unpredictable challenages now and then , like how to kill the other player, or how to ambush him and so forth.
So overall computer games are puzzles that players need to solve and players in turn get fun and satisfaction once they have solved it.

History of The gaming Industry form my POV (Point of View)
Computer Games / Gaming has evolved a lot. From the time of people playing with machines that produce mild electric shocks ( I am serious in the past there are machines that produce mild electrical shocks to people and they find it fun.... wondered if anyone died) , to a realistic 3D world to people.
One of the more olden games that is still being played in some arcades today is pinball. The pinball was once a old broken down machine when player try to keep a metal ball in the game while completing objectives. Now over the years , it has even become a digital game where players play it on the computer.

One of the early type of video games was one that involved 2 players taking control of 2 spaceships and the objective is to shoot at each until one of them is destroyed.
Soon after other games began to develope. Some made bg successes other did not. Soon there were the protests about video game violences. The game that caused it was called Death Race where it involves the player to crush gremlins using a car.

But during that year there was a slump in computer games. People stopped buying and games were left on the shelves. It was only in 1978 when the games can back in demand when Toshihiro Nishikado started a get called Space invaders where the player has to defend earth using a gun platform agianst a invasion of alien armada.
Anyway we should als focus on the gaming plateforms too. It is not the games that make the industry succesful.
In 1972 a company called Waco (Toymaker) , created the 1st handheld game device called OXO which is like the game Tic Tac Toe. While during the 70s and 80s rapidly computers where allowed into homes whith simple computer programmes. In 1969 the 1st console gaming machine was sold and soon after a game called PONG made by Atari was sold which was one of the most successful game of that time.
And over time the computer games kept evolving from Dots and black and white games, to 2D colored environments to now 3D one so close to real life realizm.
On the personal note.. i still can remember my 1st computer game. It was Before windows was installed into my computer. it was a 2D ( extremely simple 2D) game where you play as a ninja and fighting enemies thru each level.
